Exercise Class Lead by Karsyn Hornby

Last night, Karsyn Hornby lead our first exercise class at Mountain Health Functional Medicine.  She talked about the “why” of exercise, citing the first big benefit is cardiovascular health and the second benefit is related to help with stress reduction.  Weight loss comes in at #3.  She then showed us exercises to strengthen our core muscles which can be done at home without any fancy equipment.

Such a good night.  I learned a lot and all had a great time.  Karsyn is a certified trainer at the Apex Gym here in Billings and is working on a Masters at MSU.  You will, also see her at all of the Rocky football games, as she works with the players.  Lucky players!
